Location: 2x roles – based in either South West or South East London

Salary: to £23,000/annum

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Permanent 37.5 hours including evenings/weekends as required

 

Job Description

As Business Development Field Marketing Executive you will work as part of the expanding marketing department. This exciting role is a unique opportunity to combine business development with marketing and events.

The role will include visiting local businesses, NCT groups, children’s organisations and large commercial organisations to promote Asquith’s premium childcare offering in creative ways. You would also have responsibility to organise and oversee events to improve our local presence. Local activity could include carnivals, fetes and national exhibitions as well as local coffee mornings and street promotion activities.

The busy field marketing team is responsible for locally marketing our network of 75+ nurseries as well as promotion at open days, open evenings and showcase day events. A major part of the role will be local business development around the launch of new nurseries as part of our aggressive acquisition plans.

What skills/experience do I need to apply?

You will be a confident self-starter, with confident communication skills. A strong team player, who is also comfortable with working on your own initiative within company guidelines. Due to the nature of this role, you need to be willing to attend events on a regular basis and weekend work will be a regular part of the job role

  • At least 2 years experience working in a marketing/events role (experience in a childcare role would also be advantageous but not essential)
  • Confident, outgoing personality
  • Full clean driving licence as a company vehicle will be provided
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Ability to operate in a fast paced environment working to deadlines
  • Self-motivation and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Fluent English
  • MS Office skills

All successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.
