We have two fantastic opportunities to join our commercial team in what promises to be a fast paced, challenging and highly rewarding role.  We are looking for individuals who are keen to develop their professional and interpersonal skills ensuring they have opportunities to grow their careers within Kepak Convenience Foods.

Territory 1 – Scotland, ideally located in the central belt eg: Glasgow, Stirling, Falkirk, Edinburgh

Territory 2 – South West England, ideally located with access to Bristol, Swansea, Cardiff

Based within our Convenience Team your role will be to manage and develop relationships with customers in Cash and Carry, Delivered Wholesale, Independent Retailers and Regional Accounts including Symbols Multi Site Operators within your territory.

Key aspects of the role include:-

  • Developing customer relationships in new and existing accounts 
  • Achieving targets in line with the businesses Gold, Silver, Bronze strategy.
  • Design and execute business plans and local agreement to drive distribution and availability within your territory
  • Execution of activities that contribute towards successful delivery of the National Account plan
  • Manage local spend eg below the line advertising spend
  • Evaluation of brand performance, sales initiatives and promotional activity within your territory
  • To drive and deliver category management solutions

Required skills & experience:-

We are happy to consider graduates looking for their first customer facing role that can demonstrate the required skills and sales professionals with experience within food & drink/FMCG.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent  
  • The ability to understand customers’ needs within their own environment
  •  Able to demonstrate strong selling skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to plan your week to maximise your time
  • Resilient, target driven and energetic approach to work.  Prepared to go the extra mile.
  • Able to work autonomously, yet excel when in a team environment
  • Good knowledge of word/excel/PowerPoint
  • Customer facing sales experience preferred
  • Convenience Channel knowledge and experience advantageous 
  • Full Driving License
