This role will involve managing your own sales portfolio for a famous FMCG brand and increasing their sales by calling on grocery retail stores and building fantastic relationships with key store colleagues by influencing and implementing promotional activity for your brand.
The Role
- Representing your brand for one of our key Grocery clients
- Managing your own territory and visiting grocery retail stores
- Presenting data in stores to Managers and key store contacts
- Merchandising to standards and putting in place promotional activities to maximise brand exposure
- Identifying opportunities to increase brand presence
- Creating business relationships with store managers and key store contacts
- Using retail systems and processes (Planograms, Product Coding, Point of Sale)
- Liaising with the Territory Manager for escalation of store issues and opportunities
The Sales Developer is an exciting, entry level role that allows individuals to embark on their career within the Grocery Industry. As a Sales Developer you will be responsible for ensuring that the visuals and merchandising of the brand are maintained within the store. Your aim is to ensure that customers are attracted to buy our products when they walk into the store!
Some key strength's we are looking for…
- Experience working in a retail or merchandising role preferable
- Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and individually
- Initiative
- Good presentation skills
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Professional in appearance and manner
- Capable of doing manual handling (lifting, bending and stock handling)
Candidates with a full UK drivers licence (with no more than 6 points of previous bans) as the package for this role includes a company car
