About our Client:

The client is a high growth family owned brand in the UK premium health food market. The next step in the business strategy is to reach c£100million in Western Europe. They have experienced year on year growth success for the last 4 years globally and are now looking for their next entrepreneurial and health food passionate recruit into the UK National Accounts Team. The business is family owned and provides an autonomous and flexible culture, while allowing anyone coming in the real opportunity to take your accounts, get hands on and run with them. Pushing the boundaries and making your own calculated decisions is key in the remit of driving growth and incremental new listings in the top 4 retailers.

You’ll take fully responsibility for your accounts, where you’ll be given the time and space to work with your customer in order to develop a partnership rather than just managing a transactional relationship.  The P&L will belong to you, visibility and autonomy levels are high.

About the Role:

CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT

  • Delivering  the Account Business Plan with customers
  • Establish regular contact with key customer contacts to maximise business opportunities with the account/s (e.g. buyers, category managers, operations, stock controllers) 
  • Coordinate Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing and commercial activities to deliver total customer satisfaction
  • Lead in-store activity, monitor competitors and ensure that all forecasting and administration is up to date and accurate.

MANAGING THE TEAM/LEADERSHIP

  • Support the Head of Sales and other senior management with motivation of the team and development of your overall business and growth strategy

About You:

Our client is looking for someone who has prior experience of dealing with UK top 4 multiples and ideally blue chip trained but wants to get away from the red tape & process driven culture. Truly owning P&L, having your own ideas, making your own decisions & broadening your commercial horizons is high on the agenda.  A real team player is needed to help drive the business in line with the global strategy.
