Senior Field Sales Accounts Executive – Grocery Channel – Lancaster / Lakes
12 month Secondment
 

What you become a part of:
As part of the Grocery team, you will be responsible for the implementation of the Grocery channel agenda in "top end" Grocery and High Street Convenience outlets and achieving budgeted volume growth and key business targets across a defined territory.
 

What to expect:

Trade Execution:

  • To achieve coverage targets;
  • Draw up a journey plan to achieve coverage plan in accordance with store classification, ensuring the best use of company time.

To achieve promotional & display targets

  • Ensure all promotional activity is implemented as per head office agreement through effective briefings on Day 1 of promotion;
  • Ensure all promotions are activated with pricing and promotional material;
  • Educate stores on the benefits of promotions and secure additional displays in discretionary space;
  • Influence stores to order agreed promotional volumes by using of "store specific sales data";
  • To influence stores to space flex during promotions;

To achieve availability targets & correct customer "Out of Stocks"

  • Ensure all CCE products listed by headquarter are available in-store;
  • Gain a complete understanding of in-store processes to maximise availability;
  • Achieve agreed % fixture space by ensuring HQ planograms are implemented in full;
  • Use internal and external reports to identify and correct root causes rather than spot merchandising;
  • Ensure all New Coca-Cola Enterprises Products are available in-store from Day 1. 

To ensure all national planograms are implemented

  • Ensure all store planograms, both ambient and chilled, are implemented as per HQ agreement;
  • Educate customers accordingly to ensure that compliance is achieved;
  • Bring to the attention of store contacts where compliance issues exist. 

Ensure chilled targets are achieved

  • Devise a business plan to deliver Chilled ‘Drink Now Packs’ growth targets;
  • Ensure Chilled Facings target is achieved by placing Coca-Cola Enterprises equipment in stores and/or gaining space in dealer owned kit;
  • Track equipment performance and devise testimonials to educate contacts on the benefits of CCE Equipment.

Ensure team follow Asset Management process

  • Follow correct install procedure including advising customers what needs to happen prior to install;
  • Meet all equipment deliveries to avoid and manage failed deliveries.

Business Development

  • Have a business plan for all accounts;
  • Prepare plans for all stores combining CCE and Customer objectives;
  • Hold regular review meetings with Store Managers to review performance and past activation and secure future agreements.

Set local business development objectives EG

  • Space flexing on fixture to improve availability;
  • Develop Petrol Forecourt and Cafe opportunities;
  • Observe additional sites for CCE equipment EG Music and Video area, Café;
  • Develop front of store and Food2Go opportunities.

Qualifications  What we expect of you

Experience:
A can do attitude with key skills such as influence and challenge, gathering and analysing information and communication is a prerequisite for the Professional, Field Sales Accounts role.
Candidates must:

  • Be highly self-motivated;
  • Demonstrate experience of processing significant amounts of information from a variety of sources.
  • Able to prioritise tasks, and determine which activities are urgent and/or business critical.
  • Able to show clear evidence of their successes in their careers to date. Whilst not essential, experience in Sales and /or Retail would be a benefit;

And possess and display high levels of:

  • Communication and Organisational skills
  • Passion, Determination, Initiative and a degree of independence
  • Numeracy

Furthermore, the successful candidate requires a full clean driving license.
