Trade Marketing Manager – Saudi Arabia

The Opportunity

The ideal candidate will have proven head of function trade marketing credentials within preferably a blue chip multinational food/beverage manufacturing environment.

You will have established key account and category management credentials across a large and complex retail portfolio. 

Working closely with marketing and regional sales teams you will be responsible for creating key account and retail customer specific strategies relating to space, position, POS, promotions, product sampling and making category management recommendations to ensure in-store excellence in visibility and availability. 

Responsible for setting the benchmark on merchandising principles you will proactively identify and present areas of opportunity to the company for existing and future product lines. 

Experience of handling large volumes of diverse product lines on a multipoint of sales basis across a national/ countrywide scale is essential.

Strong influencing skills within food/ beverage retail trade at a senior buyer level together with keen analytical skills is prerequisite to the role

This position is likely to suit an existing head of trade marketing or aspiring trade marketing manager looking for a larger challenge.

Experience in using space planning software such as JDA Intactix is highly desirable  

Only applicants that match the following experience will be considered

  • Business or Marketing degree
  • Verifiable track record of success in a trade marketing function within a multinational food/beverage manufacturing environment (min 10 years) 
  • Senior managerial experience within a trade marketing function [min 5 years - preferably now head of TM function]
  • Successful experience as a KAM dealing with major multiple retailers to senior buyer level and above
  • Demonstrable analytical, influencing and presentations skills to board level
  • High degree of familiarity and practice with JDA Intactix and MS office or equivalent IT tools
