A manufacturer of premium, large house hold appliances and home fixtures for the domestic and commercial markets are now looking to add to their team a Passionate and motivated National Account Manager to help them develop their trade sector. Being established for over 80 years this business are known for their high end and high quality products helping them to become a well-loved and globally recognised brand name. With manufacturing sites across Europe they also distribute across America, Europe and the Far East.

As National Account Manager you will be responsible for building and maintaining long term business relationships with Howdens and four other important National Accounts. You will be tasked with developing the brand and growing awareness and profit within these accounts, an element of new business will also be involved. You will devise and implement individual business plans in line with the business strategy and manage all processes including forecasting, NPI & pricing.

The successful candidate will currently be in a Key Account or National Account position and will have shown proven success in growing trade accounts such as Jewsons, Howdens & Travis Perkins. You will be able to demonstrate strong negation, decision making and relationship building skills and also be highly analytical. You must be self-motivated and a team player, able to work to tight deadlines and be tenacious in efforts to grow business. It is essential that you have a good understanding of the Trade Channel and its mechanics and are also able to communicate at all levels with personnel internally and externally.
