Summary

Working for a Times Top 100 employee as their Director of Sales, based a couple of days a week from the West Midlands.


Client Details

With over 20 years trading history, my client is a large, independently owned food business who have been recognised for their great working culture as both a Times Top 100 employer and a Best Place To Work. They pride themselves on great customer service and this is demonstrated through a large proportion of their business coming from customer referrals. They are now looking to expand their sales team and are looking for a Director of Sales to drive this.


Description

As the Director of Sales you will be responsible to the leadership and strategy of the national new business development team, focusing on the hotel and restaurant channel. Currently running at a small headcount it will be your responsibility to grow the profitably and headcount size of this team alongside identifying some larger clients of your own.


Profile

This is a critical hire for my client and it is imperative that the successful Director of Sales is a dynamic leader and coach with previous experience of sales into the Hotel/Restaurant channel. Ideally you will have worked for a large business but will be looking to get into a smaller environment where you can be a part of this exciting growth period, although strong profiles from SMEs will be considered. Ideally degree educated
