Summary

To be recognised as value added by London Wholesale customers through the proactive and innovative management of allocated resources.

- Reporting to the Account Manager, London Wholesale and Fine Wine Merchant and working within the National Wholesale & Independent Retail team
- Working closely with the On Trade Teams and Commercial Development Team
- Working closely with London Wholesale customers to ensure that distribution & volume plans are achieved.
- Office & field Based

Description

- To develop and execute a strategy to achieve new points of distribution for the UK portfolio, working in partnership with both the brand and London Wholesale sales teams

- To increase the share of On Trade sales team business at designated Wholesaler(s)

- To manage and implement 'Focused Wholesaler' plan with 1 or 2 key London Wholesalers and follow up throughout the year to achieve the agreed targets - both in distribution and volume, demonstrating growth with focused Wholesaler vs. historical sales figures and vs other London wholesale customers.

- To be the first point of contact for all London Wholesaler teams and support their customers in the field

- To develop a strong network of contacts within customers to maximize brand opportunities and effectiveness of brand investment

- To implement brand plans and product innovations through effective implementation of customer activity and frequency of call contact, ensuring the smooth execution of the product innovations through all relevant Wholesalers





Profile

- Proven track record in sales, within the Wines and Spirits industry
- Experience within the London Wholesale and On Trade sector or three tier system
- Experience within the luxury industry
- Champagne, wine and overall spirits knowledge
- On Trade sector knowledge

- WSET certificate preferable

- Commercially analytical with strong customer focus
- Commercially agile
- Ambitious
- Creative and innovative
- Excellent team player
- Strong negotiation skills
