TRAINER / VISUAL MERCHANDISER

Territory to be covered is LONDON and HOME COUNTIES [ South ]

Accessible to Maidenhead HQ , BERKSHIRE

O.T.E . £24,550 including a performance award + review after six months

+ VW company vehicle + blue-chip company benefits after a qualifying timescale.

SEIKO UK Limited is the wholly-owned UK subsidiary of the Seiko Watch Corporation of Tokyo , Japan.

Their own brands include SEIKO , PULSAR and LORUS watches and SEIKO and LORUS clocks.

Additionally our client is the UK distributor for BREIL Watches , BREIL Jewels , MOSCHINO , TED BAKER and KENNETH COLE Watches as well as Morellato watch straps and bracelets.

In 2014 at the UK Watch & Jewellery Awards – SEIKO was awarded ‘Watch Brand of the Year’.

At the forthcoming Retail Jeweller UK Jewellery Awards 2015 SEIKO has been shortlisted both for ‘The Innovation Award’ for SEIKO Astron Chronograph as well as ‘ Watch Brand of the Year ‘

SEIKO U.K. LIMITED has been shortlisted for ‘ Employer of the Year ‘.

To be considered for this role it is felt that you may already have succeeded in a Retail and are able to demonstrate a penchant for sales training alongside being a natural implementer of everything that is best Visual Merchandising wise.

You may have already flown the four store walls and entered a Sales support role  ; possibly as a Field Merchandiser. This step up would be an elevation in the right direction – a lead company owned brand & the forefront of their respective industry.

Well presented with a friendly disposition you will be tasked with the challenge of building brand productive relationships at a branch level be it a National Multiple Retail Jeweller or Departmental store great.

Every store brand sales position needs to be clean, fully stocked and present an impeccable SEIKO brand image.

You will be fastidious when it comes to display standards and be able to inspire dutiful care of your prized brand by others when not personally in situ.

Point of sale will be positioned to agreed plan by yourself to ensure that both brand and retail host sell -through objectives are mutually accomplished.

As you would expect from the worlds most recognised Watch brand name the merchandising protocol is ever under evaluation. You will report  accurately your daily findings & successes to your National Account Manager.

Staff training  through utilisation of PowerPoint presentations will absolutely fall within this remit – this is to ensure that retail sales personnel understand how the more complex watches ( Chronographs  etc. ) operate.

Working solo in the field you will be very much part of the SEIKO brand team of whom you will be in frequent contact to ensure the brands season by season goals are not just met but exceeded.

You may be asked on occasion to cover for Sales Executives who manage the Independently owned Retail Jewellery accounts when they are on holiday or if a territory is vacant.

So beyond  Trainer / Visual Merchandiser this could be an ideal stepping stone into a future fully-fledged sales role.
