Operations Manager

We are an importer and distributor of Italian artisan food products since 2001, based in South London.

We are looking to recruit an Operations Manager reporting directly to Company Directors as well as being the outward face of the company, you will be responsible for many areas of the company to include:

• Business management and profitability
• Goods in and goods out, stock control and rotation • Logistics
• Sales, marketing
• Compliance • HR , supervising and managing the staff of 12 people
• Direct experience running a wholesale food operation would be ideal but not necessary however a proven track record delivering operations and business management excellence is important. 

   

  Training will be provided where necessary. High levels of energy, natural creative flair and being an ‘ideas person’ are essential as you will be expected to introduce new concepts and innovations whilst delivering our plans. 

   

  The ideal candidate will be a high achieving professional with a food wholesale or niche product management background or someone who understand our place in the market and is looking for a highly challenging, but equally rewarding role. 

   

  The candidate must have good ability on managing and coordinating people. Someone flexible and capable to move from one task to another very quickly.

   

  Knowledge of the Italian language is not necessary but it would be a plus.

   

  £60-80k including OTE - comprising basic of £40-60k, according to experience, plus performance related bonus.
