Job Details
One of the UK's leading food suppliers based in the East Midlands is looking for an account manager for their largest customer. This role could suit someone junior or with a good grounding in national account management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a business plan for the category
- Work closely with innovation teams to deliver category plans
- Enforce the category management position
- Manage day to day performance to achieve annual sales and margin targets
- Create opportunities for cost reduction
- Ensure all promotional and NPD activity meets with the performance criteria.
Previous experience at national account executive or manager level will be considered - but team & culture fit is very important. They are very much in partnership with their customers and an interview will be required with the customer before appointment. Excellent communication & analytical skills are essential and there will be travel required down to the South East.
