National Account Manager – Online/E-tail
This NAM role is perfect mix of online and ‘bricks and mortar’ accounts with development through NPD and smart online marketing
- C. £43,000 p.a.
- 15% bonus
- Management of developing e-tailer channel with responsibility for Amazon and Ocado
- Company car or car allowance

You will take a leading role in successfully developing distribution through the online channel for core ranges and specifically developed channel products.
Key Accountabilities
- Negotiate with the accounts in order to develop a mutually beneficial business plan
- Control allocated trade development budget to maximise sales.
- As and when necessary assist in training and management of Key Account Managers /National Account Executives
- Setting of objectives in line with company strategy
- The monitoring of and management of budgets/targets for KAM’s/NAE.
- Accounts: Amazon, Ocado, Argos, Flash sale sites, other on line sites if relevant, TV Shopping Channels, Iceland, Costco, Next, Office Depot(TBC)
- Take an active role in developing and implementing the Channel strategy for the Company and Group, reporting back to the Group, results, feedback and insights
- To work with marketing to develop Channel relevant promotions, information and advertising
- This role will have a high profile within the company- Developing our on-line presence and TV shopping channel opportunity is a key part of the strategic plan going forward for the whole group
- Working closely with the Marketing team and Senior Management team to develop strategies and tactics to take existing business to another level and develop the opportunities in this channel to a higher degree
- To work with marketing to develop channel specific products, and assist in formulating the launch plans and distribution objectives
- The key responsibility will be to develop the distribution base for the online channel beyond its current size.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Graduate Calibre , with experience in Sales and/or Marketing. Experience in Managing Amazon, E-tailer/E-commerce Accounts, on-line business a must and bricks and mortar accounts would be an advantage.
- A high level of understanding of the online channel and the way it works.
- High level of computer literacy- Excel package to high standard, Web page development experience.
- Must be commercially astute and target driven.
- The ability to work alone, as part of a team and/or cross departments is essential.
