Job Details
At Arla, we do so much more than make some of the world's favourite dairy products. We make healthy taste delicious, mornings worth getting up for and family dinners unforgettable. Cravendale®, Anchor®, Lurpak® and Tickler® - names like these make us a vital, natural part of modern life in over 100 countries around the world. We are 4,000 UK and 19,000 global employees at the heart of it. Every single one of us plays an important role and together we build on our 10bn Euros turnover and establish our position as one of the largest dairy companies in the world.
Here at Arla Foods we are currently recruiting for a Business Manager to manage the butter, spreads, margarine and the fresh dairy product portfolios for the Waitrose business. Maintaining and building upon the established relationships we have with this key retailer, you will form part of a high performing team based at our Head Office function in Leeds.
Responsibilities in this role will include developing, implementing and reviewing joint business plans in order to achieve budgeted volumes, margin and debt targets. This will include terms and account investment plans, distribution gains, promotional plans and new product opportunities. You will encourage and develop strategic partnerships with key customer contacts and internal Arla stakeholders, throughout both the Commercial and Supply Chain functions.
Performing timely administration of internal business processes, managing resources effectively whilst seeking out opportunities for self development proactively and continually, you will play a key part in driving business growth by contributing effectively to category action teams and other cross functional projects
To be successful in this role you will hold a 2.1 commercially orientated degree along with significant experience of working within a similar FMCG food environment. Being highly numerate, you will have a deep understanding of category management principles whilst being able to demonstrate the use of multiple data streams in order to provide actionable insight. With the ability to manage and develop strategic partnerships, your communication and networking skills will be second to none.
In return you can expect a competitive salary and benefits package and the opportunity to work for a forward thinking, progressive organisation that recognises and rewards talent.
