With an ever increasing number of stores across the UK, this company is a market leader in it's field and a business that prides itself on their vibrant and fun working culture. They are looking to for Retail Merchandising, Merchandise Planning or Supply Chain expert to join the head office team, initially on a 6 month contract, but with the possibility of the role becoming permanent. The job holder will be tasked with managing the planning, forecasting and replenishment process by the analysis of sales patterns and forecasting stock intake to ensure the business runs as efficiently as possible

Key Responsibilities will include:
* Manage and monitor the availability and intake of a diverse range of products from the UK and abroad
* Manage the WSSI for the category and manage related promotions as necessary
* Work in partnership with international suppliers to plan all bulk shipping orders in the most efficient way.
* Plan and forecast product availability around seasonal events and the promotions calendar
* Compile and maintain stock availability and replenishment reports for core lines
⢠Use Store profiling tools to ensure the right product mix is designated to stores on a branch by branch basis and react quickly to changes in product demand

Experience required:
⢠Must have experience in a retail supply chain environment i.e Merchandising, Replenishment, Forecasting etc. and be both highly analytical and commercial. Exposure to WSSIs highly advantageous
⢠Advanced PC skills, especially adept with Excel
⢠Be able to work at pace, react quickly to changes and be positive, proactive and forward thinking
⢠Excellent organisational skills and high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
⢠Ability to work both as part of team and under their own initiative
