Business Development Manager

Our client is a well regarded and highly effective fresh food foodservice business who have built up a strong reputation in their sector. They are currently looking for a business development manager to be field based. You will be responsible for developing business in your region and managing a number of existing clients.

The Role
Ensuring the business is well represented in the region and leads for new business are followed up quickly
Working closely with the customers to ensure their needs are met and offer solutions to solve their requirements
At all times, acting as a good ambassador for the business and the values it has been built upon

The Candidate
Will have foodservice experience, ideally having worked with a number of independent customers. Fresh food experience would be a benefit.
Must know how to talk to chefs and be able to offer solutions to their problems.
Will be self motivated and driven by delivering high standards of work
Will be an effective communicator and have good time management skills to manage a large number of clients
