Wiltshire Farm Foods is the leading frozen home meals delivery service in the country. Established in 1991 Wiltshire Farm Foods provide healthy and nutritious meals to many thousands of elderly customers who wish to remain independent in their own homes.Due to promotion this exciting position has become available.Reporting directly to the Head of Business Development, the successful candidate will be able to support the WFF network of franchises in the North to realise their sales and profit potential. You will be able to use your strong commercial disciplines to guide and influence franchisees to achieve their growth objectives in line with apetito’s ambitious and stretching growth objectives.The role will require considerable travelling flexibility in being able to support franchises as far apart as Northern Scotland down to the Midlands. A car is provided.The role is Monday – Friday with a requirement for occasional weekend and evening work. Regular meetings at our HQ in Trowbridge are also required. The post is exempt from the rehabilitation of offenders act, due to our work with the elderly and vulnerable members of society and is subject to an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for the ensuring all franchises in your area deliver a minimum standard of sales growth performance.
  • To develop and maintain relationships with each franchisee so they are engaged 100% in optimising sales in their franchise.
  • To ensure each franchise in your area is proactive in delivering outstanding customer service, backed by strong operational disciplines and proactive local marketing activities.
  • It is the BDM’s responsibility to ensure each franchise has the following:

1) Outstanding leadership. 
2) Excellent disciplines in outbound calls. 
3) A flexible operational approach. 
4) Strong Health Care Professional relationships and local marketing standards. 
5) A consistent programme of Direct Mail.

  • The BDM plays a key role in linking communications with all apetito support functions and the Franchisees.

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:
• Has worked in a customer service environment
• Has worked in a multi-site role
• Strong presentational and influencing skills
• Sales driven, must be able to win credibility with franchisees
• A strong track record in getting the best out of people.
• Degree in marketing / business or near equivalent

Desirable:
• Worked in and understands elderly market
• Worked with business owners or in franchising
• Ability to forge relationships quickly with a diverse audience
• Sales and presentation training
• Customer services

Personal Qualities:
• The successful candidate will have very strong influencing skills – your ability to influence will make a difference to the growth of the franchises you serve.
• Ability to communicate and relate to people at all levels.
• Ability to work under own initiative, plan own day, manage own time.
• Able to evaluate priority activities per franchise that will facilitate growth.
• Achieve the balance of supporting franchisees while challenging them to drive continued growth.
• A team player who can network well with apetito colleagues
• Resilient and possessed with a sense of humour.
• Ambitious to progress career within apetito
• Computer literate
• Full, Clean driving licence
