Role: Territory Account Executive/Regional Account Manager
Salary: £30,000-£32,000 Basic + OTE and Benefits
Location: Home-Based, Glasgow/West Scotland (covering West Scotland)
With a global presence and a reputable brand name, an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Business Development Manager / Area Sales Executive has arisen to join a market leader, selling high profile healthcare/medical products into businesses within the West Scotland area. This is an autonomous and engaging position with incredible potential, covering a growing and buoyant territory.
Our client is one of the largest FMCG companies which provide specialist products within the healthcare/medical sector. From their extensive network of facilities in a number of countries across five continents, our client distributes their market leading products virtually everywhere in the world. Due to an expansion of their sales force they are now looking for a new Business Development Manager / Regional Account Manager to help create business growth through major accounts and independent businesses throughout the West Scotland area.
Business Development Manager /Area Sales Executive – The Role
This is a client facing, field-based sales role that will give you the day-to-day variety of a mixture of clients and require a confident communicator. By use of effective territory planning and relationship building, you will be focused on seeking new business opportunities and growing existing accounts within the designated area, by virtue of regular journey cycles.
Able to educate clients in an enthusiastic and engaging manner, you will develop and introduce new products to key and independent accounts.
With an ability to utilise relationships to strategically implement marketing/product campaigns to drive sales volumes, your commercial focus will ensure success within the role.
Business Development Manager / Regional Account Manager – The Person
We are looking for a dynamic individual who is able to demonstrate the below:
- Ability to manage a geographical area
- A proven successful track record of acquiring new business and growing accounts, ideally within one of the b2b healthcare / retail / FMCG /clinical sectors
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent planning, organisational skills and account management experience
- Strong business acumen
- Innovative with the ability to spot business opportunities
- Professional in attitude and conduct
- Experienced in B2B field sales preferably
- Excellent inter-personal skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Product backgrounds may include but are not limited to FMCG / healthcare / pharmaceutical / medical / optical
