A client of ours is looking for a commercial analyst to be part of their sales & marketing team. The business is a major global player in food supplying all the major retailers in the UK and abroad.

The role is essentially looking at commercial & product trend data provided by agencies & customers, interpreting this and making recommendations based on the findings. The career path could either be upwards in sales or marketing - and as the business is part of a large group there will be opportunities in different business units.

Previous experience in analysis is essential and a real love for analytics, databases & spreadsheets is a must - candidates however can come from any analysis role, but will need to be prepared this is a commercial role looking at data. Whilst being analytical, this role will also require engaging stakeholders throughout the businesses and making recommendations, so strong communication skills are necessary.
