Summary

The primary function of the FMCG wholesale national account manager is to;

- Manage and develop sustainable customer relations at all levels and across all functions within designated customers
- To deliver annual business objective and financial targets across Cash and Carry and wholesale channels. Largest customers being Booker, Costco, Landmark Wholesale and Todays Group

My client, an FMCG North West based business are seeking an ambitious national account manager to successfully manage and develop business and revenue through the wholesale and cash and carry channel.


Description

The successful wholesale National Account Manager will be responsible for but not limited to;

- To manage the business relationship between the business and designated account base
- To hit all KPIs set in line with the annual budget and personal objectives
- To manage account promotional spends and execute activity in accordance with agreed account plans
- To ensure the business deliver an exceptional service to their customers, and to identify, deal and respond to any customer issues and queries.
- To network and drive relationships across all functions internally and external to the business.
- To work closely with Wholesale, Foodservice and convenience BDM's to deliver regional objectives and initiatives.


Profile

The ideal profile for the wholesale national account manager position based ideally in the North is;

- A passionate and committed individual with a strong drive for results
- The ability to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment is essential
- Ability to build open and honest relationships with people on all levels of the business.
- Experience and understanding of the wholesale and cash and carry channel
- Minimum 1 years National Account Management experience with a proven track record of financial capability
- Excellent negotiator and commercially astute
- Determination to achieve and willingness to continually learn
