We have a fantastic opportunity to work as a Sales Representative at a Hygiene & Janitorial supplies company based in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear visiting clients in and around a 50 mile radius of Newcastle upon Tyne.

Do you have experience in Field Sales, Account Management, Sales Representative roles, Telesales or Outbound Sales but looking for a new challenge? Then this job is for you!

The ideal candidate will be confident with their sales ability and have excellent communication skills.The candidates will be very market aware, intelligent and confident with outstanding time management expertise and have exceptional sales and account management abilities. 

As a Sales Representative you will be calling new and existing trade businesses to establish their needs and provide support to improve their sales. (particularly the care home industry and cleaning & facilities companies)

Making outbound B2B sales calls to develop new business and provide support to existing.

Selling and providing advice on products and services (Chemicals, Paper products etc.)

Covering the North East area you will be visiting new and existing clients to sell products.

Key competencies of a Sales Executive;

  • Field sales and telecommunications experience

  • Proven record of achieving targets

  • Advanced product knowledge i.e. Chemical & Paper products

  • Strong communication skills

  • and professionally portray the face of the company

    Working hours; Monday- Thursday  9.00am-5.00pm Friday 9-4pm

    This role may involve working from the office one or two days per week therefore candidates must be prepared to travel and have their own transport.

You are required to have strong organisational skills, excellent reporting capabilities and be structured in your approach to your sales targeting. The ability to negotiate at all levels and conduct practical demonstrations.

The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years’ sales experience within the Hygiene and Janitorial markets.
