We know about food!

Tulip Ltd is the UK’s leading food solutions business, supplying all major food retailers, wholesalers and foodservice companies with a wide range of quality products.

We provide consumers with a comprehensive range of products in four key mega-categories - fresh meat & sausage, bacon & gammon, cooked meat, and convenience & snacking.

Our farm-to-fork operation is unique in the industry, while our strategic framework puts customers, product, efficiency and people at the heart of everything we do, all with a view to growing responsibly.

As part of the Danish Crown Group, the largest pork provider in Europe and the biggest exporter of pork in the world, Tulip Ltd is well-placed to deliver its ambitious plans for sustainable growth.

If you have an Appetite for more, this could be the role for you.

We currently have an exciting opportunity available within NPD, reporting to the Head of NPD and Innovation with a dotted line into the CO-OP Commercial Director.

You will lead on the communication, building and management of the customer relationship and will support the development work and category streams within Tulip being the point of contact between the insight and the NPD teams.

Equally you will be the funnel for new development briefs in and out of Tulip with key customers and will be responsible for developing and managing key projects and critical paths ensuring that customer deadlines are met.

You will present with chefs and the insight team and will coordinate the artwork / specifications and feedback as required.

The successful candidate will ideally have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, previous experience of leading a successful team, a high commercial understanding of product development and experience of formulating plans and persuading others to support such plans.

Your NPD knowledge and expertise will help you to shape the product ranges including cutting the tail, supporting your ability to maximize sales and probability.

You will be imaginative, results driven and extremely customer orientated as well as having a strong business acumen and excellent organisation and project management skills.

The role is based in Warwick with travel to the CO-OP Head Office in Manchester and other sites as required.

Home Based candidates may also be considered.

As an international organisation, we pride ourselves on creating high quality food and exceed many recognized industry standards. We care about people and offer an excellent package.

If you are serious about food as we are and ready to help us make a difference, we would like to hear from you.
