Our client is an innovative healthcare company that’s recruiting for a Sales & Marketing Manager. They’re moving into the UK market to launch their portfolios into the Pharmacy sector following a successful launch in the US.

The Sales and Marketing Manager’s objective and key responsibilities: 

  • Maximise growth and profitability in line with Company strategy and values
  • Develop and take accountability for the performance of all marketing and sales activities in UK market
  • Research and develop marketing opportunities and plans
  • Develop marketing strategies for the territory
  • Establish and implement sales plans to develop and grow the Company’s UK customer base

Other responsibilities:

  • Contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans
  • Defining market and target market share, competitor analysis & monitoring
  • Setting sales targets by SKU and geography in line with Company’s sales targets and strategy
  • Forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis & corrective action with respect to Marketing & Sales budgets
  • Planning, developing, implementing and evaluating advertising and promotional plans
  • Managing relationships with and directing PR consultants as required
  • Key/National Accounts Management: relationship management, negotiating terms including listing fees and discounts etc, and managing customer requests
  • Monitoring and analysing competition, data & trends
  • Proposing and contributing to product and packaging improvements
  • Contributing to pricing strategy and recommending prices
  • Liaising with and monitoring the performance of contract sales partners against pre-set sales targets

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A demonstrable Sales & Marketing track record  (Consumer Health / Food preferred)
  • Experience of working with national/large accounts and other 3rd party partners including communications agencies
  • A flexible team player who enjoys and thrives in busy, evolving environment
  • An energetic, results-orientated self-starter with strong communication skills and entrepreneurial flair who will make a strong impact quickly
  • Organised and process-friendly with the ability to work remotely and independently while maintaining contact with and the confidence of key stakeholders
  • An experienced outlook with the presence and confidence to develop and maintain key relationships
