Paul Nyman Consultancy are recruiting a Category Retail Analyst for a leading own-label business in the North West region.

The Business 

Stateside Foods have consistently grown over the last 20 years and have stayed ahead of the typical market growth, in the chilled pizza category. They’ve done this through a combined commitment to quality as well as significant investment in the business.  They currently have a 35% share of the UK chilled pizza market, being primarily an own label supplier of chilled pizza to the retail market. Through development, flair and innovation, Stateside has become a major partner to the UK retailers.

The Role

The North West based manufacturer is looking for a Category Retail Analyst to work with one of their largest strategic retail partners. You will be helping maintain and increase all aspects of Sales performance of all pre-pack & Deli Pizza products, and to provide forecasting advice to both Stateside and the Retailer. As illustrated by the business already, they operate a meritocracy which will offer development into further supply, category or commercial roles.

The Individual

You will have a strong analytical background in retailer systems, which will encompass knowledge of classical excel data manipulation and an ability to develop key relationships with customers. You’re hunger to develop will be matched by your ability to deliver. Culturally, you will understand the need to be able to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and will be able to deliver success with the team and for the team.
