Job Details
This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to work part time, you will provide daily liaison with suppliers to ensure the business is supplied 100% with raw materials
The role:
- Manage PO and orders to suppliers
- Notification of arrivals to the business
- Manage claims procedure in conjunction with procurement and technical
- Allocate orders to supplier as agreed with procurement controller
- Seek improvements in logistics and efficiencies in the supply chain
The candidate:
- Must have experience in a materials / stock controller role with a food / fresh produce business
- Be a good team player
- Flexible approach to work
- Understanding logistics and supply chain
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Strong organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise
