Sales and Marketing Director - Glendale Horticulture

Glendale Horticulture, operating through 3 long standing Horticulture Brands Meredith’s, Coblands, and Mahood’s, is one of the UK’s leading growers with revenues for 2015 budgeted at around £10 million.

We are looking to recruit a Sales and Marketing Director to work alongside the Managing Director to lead the growth and strategic vision of the Company.

The Role is:

• A newly created role reporting to the Managing Director.
• Responsible for driving the growth of the current portfolio of 3 plant nurseries across 11 sites growing in the region of 15 million plants.
• Focused on driving new business development  to increase the profitability of the existing business and securing new business.

The successful Candidate will:

• Be a key member of the senior leadership team
• Be degree educated, financially astute with proven commercial acumen and strong negotiation skills
• Lead the sales teams to maximise sales and profitability in line with the Company's strategic vision.
• Have the ability to engage and influence staff at all levels and interact well with existing and prospective clients.
