National Account Manager – Online/E-tail

A newly created, high profile role in this international business, looking to invest significantly in their online customers.  A chance to work across sales and marketing to develop the online strategy

 C. £50,000 p.a.

    • 15% bonus
    • Management of developing e-tailer channel with responsibility for Amazon and all .com business
    • Develop the dovetail marketing strategy for Facebook, Twitter and online presence

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Newly created role, as we seek to ‘step change’ our e-commerce business scale & social media consumer communication
  • Your time will be spent 70% sales, & 30% marketing
  • Responsible for the account management of Amazon and Ocado
  • Work alongside NAMs to develop on-line business and presence with Tesco, JS, Asda, Morrisons, Boots and Superdrug. You will play an active role in all relevant e-commerce customer meetings, & you will be encouraged to develop your own contact network with e-commerce / digital experts within these retailers
  • Tasked with unlocking new on-line customers, so as to generate new revenue
  • Work closely with Global Sales & global e-commerce experts.  Tasked with implementing global e-commerce strategic goals & objectives
  • Create and implement a UK specific e-commerce & digital sales strategy, Measured against agreed SMART business development objectives.
  • Work very closely with Customer Marketing & Brand Marketing, and will also have interaction with Supply Chain, Customer Service & Consumer Advisory departments
  • Work with Brand Teams/Customer Marketing to define digital strategy for Retailer integration into Marketing Plans
  • Responsibility for ensuring brand creative executions are implemented correctly across existing and new Retailer channels i.e brand shops
  • Utilise Retailer/Market data (i.e Kantar) to build insight into the online H&B sector and understand by category, the size of the market, opportunities for growth and key barriers to online purchase
  • Develop optimisation strategy for brand websites to facilitate Consumer journey from website to purchase
  • Work with Brand Teams/Media Agency/Retailers to ensure full tracking of the Consumer journey from website/media activity through to purchase
  • Develop and implement consistent approach to monitoring social media and digital “buzz”  and competitor brands.  Report regularly to Marketing and Sales teams.  Recommend actions to leverage insights for commercial gain

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Strong education, ideally with Degree in Business Studies or similar
  • Demonstrable business success & career progression in both Sales and Marketing
  • Experience & success in Amazon & Ocado account management would be an advantage
  • Strong working knowledge of grocery / drugstore retailing & e-commerce
  • A passion for digital …
