Glanbia Cheese are a highly successful and market leading manufacturer of mozzarella cheese in Europe with sales of over £225m. A joint venture between Glanbia Plc and Leprino Foods, the business has consistently achieved growth and success.  

With a Head Office based in the North West, this European business continues to invest in all areas and has a strong strategic direction for further profitable sales growth across all trade channels.

We are looking to recruit an outstanding Account Controller who will take full responsibility (c£60m) for a portfolio of major food manufacturer customers with full P&L management and strategic direction to further grow profitable sales.

This will include both UK and Central European based customers so the command of a second language – ideally French or Spanish would be of great benefit to this appointment.

Currently working within a major food company you are an experienced Commercial Account Manager with a strong understanding of the major food manufacturers and modern product development processes required to work effectively and profitably through the food supply chain.

Having successfully developed your commercial career you have strong business planning, negotiation, relationship management and influencing abilities working with all key internal and external stake holders and are now ready to take your next career challenge where you will have the responsibility and autonomy to make a real difference.

With a highly personable and engaging style you are self-motivated and demonstrate the tenacity and guile required to achieve both your future business and career goals.

The role is flexible - home or office based although 1 day per week attendance to the North West based office would be expected in order to effectively manage the customer portfolio.
