Marketing Manager - Innovation

This leading UK food business is looking for a Marketing Manager focused on innovation to join their growing team, sitting within the marketing function.

Reporting into the Director of Innovation this role will directly impact the growth and success of the company. The successful candidate must therefore be a marketer with strong problem solving skills, strong influencing skills, and be able to work with impact.

Key responsibilities include:

• Take ownership for the creation and delivery of the medium to long term Innovation strategy based on consumer, customer, and shopper insight. 
• Work with the Innovation Director to continually review the Innovation Funnel and prioritise projects against business needs
• Lead a team of 3 direct reports to drive the Innovation pipeline through the process to launch in market
• Ensure that NPD and EPD launches are on track vs clearly identified KPIs

The ideal candidate will come from a marketing background, and have experience of insights as well as developing innovation from concept to launch. They will need to be a successful, proven performer in a similar FMCG role, and be commercially orientated with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
