As Category Manager, you’ll support the UK sales team as they come up with effective category strategies and develop robust commercial plans.

Your role will be critical to helping us develop smarter ways of working, and deliver more efficient and effective performance.

You’ll help shape a compelling vision for the category and, by keeping track of all available data sources, become our resident expert on market, category, shopper and competitor environments.

What’s more, you’ll review performance within the category, agree and communicate volume display and distribution targets, and use the latest insights to update our category merchandising plans.

To join, you’ll need a strong analytical approach to data so that you can uncover important insights that often get missed.

You should also be a clear and confident communicator, as you’ll need to present these insights in a way everyone can understand.

Along with having a university degree (or equivalent), we’ll expect you to know a variety of market analysis tools such as Nielsen and Kantar.

We’ll also look for you to be results-oriented, highly self-motivated and keen to challenge the status quo.

If you’ve got FMCG experience within relevant trade channels, even better.
