Thorntons are looking for a fantastic Retail Regional Manager to lead and develop high performing store teams and build strong relationships with franchisees to maximise business opportunities.

As a Regional Manager for Thornton’s you will be key to leading and motivating our store teams whilst taking responsibility for shaping the sales strategies of your region. About the role

The Regional Manager role is a varied role but a few of the things you will be involved with will be:-

  • Develop a regional strategy to initiate and implement short and long term actions taking into account the mix of stores and people capabilities to drive sales performance and improve contribution.
  • Recruit, lead and develop District and Store Managers to produce high performing store teams and potential through performance management.
  • Develop relationships with franchise partners and understand the franchise business model to be able to advise and influence store performance to increase profitability.
  • Foster a customer led culture to provide a customer experience that embodies our Thorntons Values.
  • Ensure that stores and franchisees deliver company standards and comply with policies and statutory requirements to meet business and legal obligations.
  • Act as a key point of contact in communications between own stores, franchise and support centre functions.
  • Project lead or involvement in key companywide projects as required.

 

About you…

You will have significant experience in a Retail environment operating at area / regional manager level. You will be a strong leader, demonstrating the ability to balance motivating and inspiring store teams with commercially successful sales initiatives. You numerical skills will be outstanding as will your communication across all levels.

 

Finally you will be a skilled influencer, who can demonstrate evidence of taking an active role is cross functional projects to support the wider business needs
