Main Job purpose:

To build DCS Manufacturing Sales turnover of its Health & Beauty product range and maintain customer relationships, with both existing and potential new Customers by regular face-to-face meetings presenting the benefits of working with DCSM versus competition using the tools provided i.e. product knowledge, service and other divisions within the group – Design, Export, Distribution etc.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities include:

- To provide an ‘end to end’ sales service to meet the needs of DCSM, at a most efficient and cost effective manner for achieving DCSM objectives.

- To build profitable sales with both existing and potential customers by building relationships through regular meetings both face to face and by phone.

- To analyse sales / profit figures for all orders and optimising price by working with technical and purchasing to value engineer formulations & packaging.

- To develop and understand knowledge of products and market trends to enable DCSM to be able to respond to changing market place and Customer requirements

- Managing internal processes to ensure all customer KPI’s are met – OTIF

- To analyse sales figures and produce effective reports and distribute internally.

- To develop and understand knowledge of DCS competitors and their products and offerings to enable DCS to be able to respond to the changing market place in which it operates.

- To have an in depth knowledge of product ranges to be able to advise and provide in depth information to customers.

- Building long-term relationships with customers by understanding their needs and requirements.

- Utilising DCS internal services to Maximise customer potential

- Take responsibility for, and manage all stock (components, raw materials & filled stock) which has been in the business for 90 days or more.

- Prepare and submit to Head of Operations and Planning Manager accurate forecasts for annual and monthly customers’ requirements.

- A persuasive Negotiator with good influencing skills

- Stakeholder & relationship management

- Category management

- Self-motivated, positive ‘can do’ attitude

- Email, Excel & PowerPoint & ‘presenting’ skills

- Analytical, in depth product knowledge and information.

- Intermediate Commercial business modelling/ P & L ownership & Forecasting

- Effective commercial meeting management

- Results driven.
