The company:

An exciting British, privately owned company that manufactures and distributes a range of quality pet accessories with strong trade identity. The business is investing in additional Sales Representative’s to grow UK turnover and keep pace with their success in export sales.

The role of Sales Representative:

Working from home you will be responsible for the East side of the UK from the Home Counties to Newcastle. 

You will inherit all existing accounts in this area and be tasked with sales growth from these and new pet trade accounts.

Customers will range from independents to regional groups and will include a number of key accounts.

The company exhibit at all major trade shows as well as consumer events which will create a source of new business leads. In addition, you would be encouraged to utilise your own customer contacts if appropriate.

The benefits:

With a basic salary of £20000 and an open ended commission scheme of 2.5% of all sales on established and new accounts the job holder should be a high earner. The company also offers a suitable company car, mobile, laptop and 21 days holiday.

The right candidate will have:

• A home location near to the M1
• A successful track record of sales achievement as a Sales Representative
• Experience selling to independent pet retailers or pet buyers within garden centres
• Excellent skills in planning and organisation
• A ‘hunter’ type of character that is motivated by high performance and high earnings
