National Account Manager (Ref: MLA01)

Up to £35,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance £4,200 + Pension & Healthcare + 25 Days Holiday

West Yorkshire / Greater London

An exciting opportunity has become available for a National Account Manager (NAM) to join a market leading food manufacturer. This vibrant company has a portfolio of some of the most well-known household brands.

 The key responsibilities and duties will include the following:

  • To achieve high growth in turnover year on year.
  • To improve profitability.
  • To establish new business and maintain existing relationships.
  • To control all sales costs within budgeted levels.
  • Meet sales and profit targets as dictated by the business.
  • Effectively and efficiently undertake appropriate administration, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, communication and liaison activities.

The ideal candidate will be a successful NAM (Food) looking for a new challenge with a view to progress further within a vibrant FMCG business. Alternatively, you will be a National Account Executive (NAE) with a proven track record of successful sales where you are looking for the next step up.

As the successful candidate, you must have the following:

  • At least 12m+ FMCG sales experience.
  • Strong communication, influencing and networking skills.
  • Strong literacy and financial skills including numerical analysis and the ability to access a wide range of data.
  • Well-developed negotiation, presentation and persuasive selling skills.
  • Strong time management including planning & organising.
