A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a leading branded food manufacturer for a Category Strategy Manager based in the South East.

This role will be managing the format & convenience channels with a view to developing best in class category management strategy, process & implementation.

Key responsibly:
  • Delivering category leadership to the customer group and also internally.
  • Ensure the businesses becomes renowned for creating and implementing the best Point of Purchase (POP) solutions driving profitable growth for both parties.
  • Development & execution of a category plan with priority customers that delivers sustainable growth
  • Transform shoppers and retailers view of the category as a whole




This role would suit a current category development / strategy manager or someone who is a classic category manager looking for more macro & strategy experience. However, Convenience & Formats channel experience is strongly preferred and the successful candidate will become and expert in their field.


Strong analysis, internal engagement skills and a deep analytical thinker is required, coupled with excellent presentation skills and a desire to work their way up in the division.
