Basic Salary Circa: £40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus + Pension Scheme + Healthcare  

My client is a rapidly growing health food manufacturing business distributing across UK and internationally. Manufacturing protein bars, powders and healthy snacks, they use only the highest quality natural ingredients without compromising on taste. Due to recent expansion they are offering the opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager to build up and lead a brand new team as part of a highly successful company who are committed to being an employer of choice.

The Role:

• Reporting into a Senior Manager, you will develop a marketing strategy to support the business objectives as outlined in the company business plan. This will include consumer, retail and trade marketing.
• Responsible for building up a brand new team and ensuring efficient coordination between your team and the sales department, identifying any training needs along the way.
• You will manage digital marketing strategy, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Web Blogs, Coupons, Ambassadors and texts.
• Ensure effective implementation of marketing initiatives while also organising consumer marketing campaigns.
• Work closely with the Directors with regards to the marketing budget and influence how this budget is spent.
• Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration to organise promotional activity through the year as well as designing campaigns for all stages of the product lifecycle.

The Requirements:

• Over 5 years of relevant experience working in a marketing capacity, ideally within a fast growing brand within the food sector or similar.
• A degree or equivalent in Marketing, business management, business administration or similar are highly desirable.
• Experience in leading a team along with leadership and motivational skills as well as working well as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills, planning/coordination and an ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise workloads.
• Attention to detail but able to see the big picture as well as being able to think critically and problem solve.

• You must be presentable with excellent communication skills with the ability to demonstrate a positive attitude and enthusiasm at all times.
