Here at PepsiCo, we are looking for an eCommerce Insights Manager to join our European Digital team. The role will be based at our UK head office near Reading, Berks.

This new role will support the acceleration of PepsiCo's European eCommerce business through world class use of macro insight, shopper data and web analytics - focusing primarily on the UK market. The role will distil understanding of "how technology is changing shopping", outlining new opportunities for PepsiCo to take advantage of these changes to grow disproportionately.

Accountabilities
* Lead the development and delivery of an eCommerce insights plan aligning stakeholders to key priorities which support the delivery of the overall eCommerce AOP.
* Deliver an ongoing program of dialogue with online shoppers, third party agencies and suppliers, used by the digital team to inform decision making and sharpen execution effectiveness.
* Composure of business case(s) to support investment requests required to deliver the insight plan
* Engage the organisation to think 'eCommerce' through clear articulation & evidencing of opportunity
* Identify key levers for profitable growth - highlighting risks & opportunities - as a result of strong analytics, insights analysis and key findings from multiple sources for both retailers and PepsiCo
* Review current shopper scorecard metrics and identifying most relevant evolution to ensure the business is focussing on moving the right metrics
* Deliver an "online retail media toolkit" that brings clear understanding of the best online retail media tools to deliver different brand objectives as well as against both reach and budget targets.
* Support the team to become integral partners to key customers by providing relevant, timely and integrated insights that shape category & sales growth
* Consult across the business on the right type of data to answer specific business questions; advising on any research spend from other teams (e.g. Impulse, Shopper Marketing).
* Develop external / internal information strategy to ensure robust customer, category and shopper data is collated and communicated efficiently to highlight trends/insights to all relevant stakeholders, ensuring "one version of the truth"

  • Strong analytical skills - ability to synthesise and integrate learning from multiple sources and see the connections in data, trends and events to generate insights.
  • Will be required to operate in new territory where fixed procedures do not yet exist, building best practice as the role evolves.

  • Understands and uses informal networks at the appropriate level to get things done
  • Ability to overcome objections using combination of fact based evidence and influencing skills
  • Creative and leading analytical thinking, building new frameworks and integrating complex ideas into a simple and easy to action communication plan

  • Challenge & Influencing Skills - experienced & effective at influencing and challenging senior internal stakeholders and agencies.
  • Strong presentation skills - comfortable presenting internally / externally to all levels.
