Midlands Aftermarket Sales Executive

Background
The Dometic Group is a world-leading provider of leisure products for the caravan, motor home, automotive and marine markets. It supplies the OE industries and after market sectors with a complete range of air conditioners, refrigerators, awnings, cookers, sanitation systems, lighting, mobile power, windows, doors and other ancillary equipment to make leisure time away from home more comfortable. Also included are specially designed refrigerators for wine storage, hotel rooms and offices as well as the transport and storage of medical products.
Dometic products are sold in almost 100 countries and are mostly produced in 22 wholly owned production facilities around the world. The Dometic Group HQ is in Sweden and it employs around 6,600 people globally with annual sales of approximately £900m.

An experienced Aftermarket Sales Executive is now required in the English Midlands to help build a growing aftermarket channel within the UK & Ireland territory.

The Key Responsibilities
* Reports into the Director of Aftermarket Sales, UK & I.
To lead the sales and business development of a range of products to the leisure and marine aftermarket.
Continually evaluate, react and report on market conditions, staying up-to-date and providing competitor data, researching new products.
Explain and sell the features and benefits of products to wholesalers, retailers and stockists.
Demonstrate technical products, highlighting features and benefits and overcoming sales objections.
Maintain contact with a number of key accounts whilst developing new business.
The Candidate profile (essential)
Experienced in selling a technical product to a wide range of customers.
Familiarity with the leisure and/or marine aftermarket.
Able to travel extensively around the Midlands with occasional visits to Dometic Group facilities overseas.
Demonstrate a field based track record and is willing to work some weekends during the exhibition season.
Highly motivated and able to plan and work effectively without supervision.
An articulate communicator with the ability to effectively build and maintain business relationships at all levels.
The Candidate profile (highly desirable)
Experience in selling air conditioning, refrigeration or electrical products.
Numerate and IT proficient with working knowledge of MS Office and Lotus notes.

Basic salary £25,000 + OTE commission at 20% of basic (paid in three payments)
Car, defined contribution pension, phone, laptop, 25 day holiday allowance
