We are recruiting on behalf of a FTSE 100 business that is looking to recruit a talented Senior Purchasing Category Manager

The Group as a whole is doing very well – recent announcements to the Stock Exchange proudly demonstrated growth in turnover, profit and their new business pipeline.    Their world class commercial function is at the very hub of this success, developing strategies and long- plans to maximise profitability.

As Senior Category Development Manager for the Non Food and BWS category, you will be responsible for business needs, category strategy implementation and continuous improvement.  This will focus on a 3 year growth plan and look at utilising CI tools and processes to effectively drive sustainable business volume growth opportunities.  You will also be responsible for managing a team and creating a dynamic, energetic and collaborative working environment for the team to success and gain strong industry reputation.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Purchasing Category Management experience from FMCG/Retail/Foodservice sectors
  • Team Management
  • Excellent stakeholder and supplier relationship building
  • CIPS qualification
