We are currently looking for an ambitious, motivational Senior National Account Manager to join our existing Wholesale team and direct this team to deliver their ambitious growth plans. This is a key appointment and offers excellent career opportunities to the right candidate
Main Job purpose:
As the Senior National Account Manager of the Cash and Carry channel, based in Stratford Upon Avon, your responsibility will be to optimise the sales and profitability both of our own manufactured brands and those of our Principals, within the national Cash and Carry channel.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities include:
Your key tasks as senior national account manager include:
- Monitoring and managing Sales vs forecast on daily basis
- Achieving revenue and profit objectives by working closely with the Sales Director to identify and actively target new opportunities within the Cash & Carry sector
- Personal accounts responsibility and man-management of NAM team
- Manage relationships with all Principal suppliers and internal departments within the business
Key Skills/ Experience:
A proven track record of profitable sales delivery.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the Wholesale / Cash & Carry market place.
- Interpret, understand and act on financial data to achieve customer solutions.
- Commercial acumen, with numeracy skills and familiarity with budgets and P&L.
- Able to Negotiate, Influence and Present at board level.
- Educated to Graduate level.
The role requires an individual with a minimum of 1 years Senior National Accounts experience, working within a fast paced FMCG environment. Ideally you will have previous relationships with buyers and have experience of working with full P&L responsibility for your accounts
