Full Time Territory - UK Based

3-5 days per week full time permanent posistion

The Client

A successful FMCG food company is looking for permanent Territory Sales managers to join its UK Sales Team.This is a successful company in a period of rapid expansion across the UK where it has been successful in developing winning propositions with major retailers.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Visiting Multiple Grocery stores in a defined geographical area
  • Develop and maximise sales through quality, availability, ordering and display of the complete product range.
  • Develop relationships and educate/train store point of contacts on correct preparation methods to maximise sales opportunity and minimise waste.
  • Ensure store compliance on agreed range, space and promotional activity.
  • Support and advise stores on stock control to ensure full range is always available
  • Building strong relationships with department managers to gain commitment to growing category / business

Job Details

  • Opportunities in Manchester, North London and East Midlands Area
  • Full Time, permanent position 3 - 5 days per week
  • Own vehicle essential, business mileage rates reimbursed
  • Fixed allowance for daily business expenses
  • Attractive base salary and opportunity to earn performance related bonus

As a Territory Manager, you will need:

  • A proven track record of sales in an FMCG, retail or similar environment ( Food advantageous )
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competent and Knowledge of Microsoft office, Word, Excel and Power point.
  • Professionalism, integrity and reliability
  • A passion and energy for driving sales and developing business.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team and take ownership and accountability of results.
  • A solution focused mind-set with effective problem solving skills.
  • An eye for detail and the ability to identify new opportunities.
  • The ability to maintain effective relationships with customers and gain their trust and commitment
  • A full clean driving licence.
  • Own Vehicle essential
