Following an internal promotion, a market leading consumer goods business is seeking a talented National Account Controller to lead a team across a Top 4 Grocery retailer. The company are brand leaders across different categories and offer fantastic progression opportunities both in the UK and Internationally.

Reporting to the Trading Director, you will oversee full P&L accountability of a significant sized budget, tasked with growing profitability and market share across different categories in line with company objectives. You will build strong relationships with key senior retail contacts and play a pivotal role internally in driving commercial initiatives cross functionally.

The role encompasses huge amounts of commercial autonomy, and leads a team of 3 direct reports.

This would be an ideal progressive move for an existing SNAM, working in a blue chip consumer environment and seeking a progressive move in a role with greater strategic and line management accountability. You will possess exceptional negotiation skills, have a sound understanding of category management and possess the desire to progress through the organisation.
