An exciting opportunity for a Shopper Marketing Manager has developed with a leading international player in the food manufacturing industry. The business manufactures and distributes a variety of branded grocery products many of which are market leading household names. The business turns over in excess of £150m and employs 500 people across their 2 UK sites. As a business which is continuously growing they are now looking to add a passionate and gifted Shopper Marketing Manager to one of their teams.

Reporting into the Category Controller, you will manage a £1million budget to develop both strategic and tactical activities to push the brands presence in store across all platforms including in and out of store, online and sampling. The key part of this role is to execute brand plans within the retail environment alongside the retailer’s strategic direction. You will champion the Shopper in research initiatives and optimise future planning through evaluation of the activities. This is a cross functional role and will see you working with brand management and sales in a collaborative way.

In order to be considered for this role you will currently be working within a similar position within the food sector, using EPOS and Panel amongst other systems. Whilst experience is essential, a degree within a business related subject is preferred.  This is a creative environment so it is key that you are able to not only communicate ideas but also develop them.
