The Business

This Global Food FMCG is currently thriving in an exciting period of transition from being what has traditionally been a very commercially led business to becoming far more brand-led. The change is being championed by their recently appointed new CEO. The positive changes within the organisation are being widely recognised by key competitors.

This will be the fourth of 5 strategic key hires within the senior team across Marketing and Sales, following the successful appointment of 3 key players in the past 12 months.


Marketing

The business holds leading or strong number two positions in its core markets of the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France, Belgium and Ireland. Moreover, their brands and products have global appeal with a rapidly growing international business unit serving consumers from North America to the Middle East, Africa, and Australia - the ambitious growth programmes in all of these markets have Innovation at its core.

With the brands being well established in each of their categories there is now a real focus on unlocking the true potential of these brands, building brand equity and further maximising their market share through consumer-centric marketing activity with ambitious growth targets. This is a multifunctional leadership role amongst the commercial functions, setting the strategic direction for this group of brands and leading the development of the in-year plan. To catalyse this growth this individual will be a proven thought-leader with an impressive track record of developing high ROI marketing strategies in a marketing-led FMCG business.
