Professional Product Marketing Manager – Manufacturing and Engineering

£37k-£45k, Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm, UK & European travel

Our internationally known client is currently looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join their team at their East Anglia based office. The Product Marketing Manager will launch the product, provide tools for the sales channel to market and sell the product and will lead key programs such as online marketing and influencer marketing programs.

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager with a hand on approach to Product Marketing. You will be working closely with the Engineers and R&D teams on this technical product so experience in Engineering would be benefical for my client.

Skills Required (not all are essential)

·        Experienced Marketing Professional

·        Strong commercial mindset

·        Proven track record of Product Management / Product Marketing / Category Marketing Management experience, preferably into B2B environment and with taking new products to market

·        Previous demonstrable experience of identifying, analysing and implementing successful technical marketing activities

·        Strong analytical and numerical skills

·        Experience in working for a manufacturing business

·        Degree Educated in Marketing or Engineering

·        Excellent interpersonal communication skills; to be able to work with customers at all levels and in varying environments

·        Strong developer of people, with a positive approach to leading your team

·        The ability to remain neutral and positive under customer pressure, both internally and externally

The Product Managers Tasks:

·        Leading and developing a Product Management Team,

·        Manage product launches,  lifecycle activities and develop revenue forecasts

·        Position the product for all relevant target markets and buyer types

·        Analyse product profitability and sales success

·        Communicate and translate the global product strategy

·        Work closely with global product development, to share marketing analysis, influence product development and continued in life management, feeding back user experiences and product quality

·        Work with the in-house Marketing department to develop marketing and messaging plans

·        Work closely with the R&D teams and engineers on site

·        You will be a hands on Product Marketer

·        Approve final marketing and go-to-market launch plans
