Sales and Marketing Director

An International Food Group is seeking an ambitious individual with the commercial focus and ability to develop and implement strategies that will deliver growth across their core business units. The company is in a important growth-phase and you will play a crucial role in increasing their presence and market share across Europe.

The Opportunity

Following a recent merger, the business has applied an ambitious growth plan to increase their presence across Europe and position themselves as the market leader in their field. Working closely with the Managing Director, you will be responsible for driving sustainable growth across the businesses Retail, Foodservice and Wholesale units, working in line with their plan.

You will analyse each Business Unit, identifying opportunities for development and growth. Following this, you will implement growth plans for each unit, monitoring performance at key milestones and reporting output statistics back to your colleagues in the Senior Management team.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for the performance of the UK Sales and Marketing function (five direct reports), consisting of a Marketing Manager and four Business Unit Managers. Your team are responsible for nurturing longstanding relationships with Retailers, Wholesalers and Foodservice providers across the UK, and you will accompany your colleagues to meetings with key stakeholders to discuss, develop and execute joint planning activities.
