SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER UK

Summary

You will be responsible for managing a small dedicated team driving demand planning, supply planning and product life cycles. You will manage collaborative relationships with suppliers and vendors, implementing best in class activities and initiatives to provide best in class product availability with tight working capital constraints.

The role will manage 3PL inbound logistics providers, and work alongside our planning / operations teams to deliver excellent service levels; you will look for cost saving and service level improvement opportunities and help drive the end to end supply chain.

Key activities

  • Lead and manage the S&OP process
  • Manage supply and forecasting plan
  • Ensure strong vendor relationships, engage and manage weekly CPFR calls
  • Maintain successful relationships with 3rd party providers (distribution and warehouse) and ensure KPIs are met
  • Manage SLAs across all 3rd party providers, ensuring service levels are maximised
  • Working with the centralised EU supply chain for global improvement initiatives
  • Liaise with sales, NPD, telesales, marketing, to drive and manage migration, new listing, delisting processes
  • Deploy SAP and reporting solutions (BO) to simplify and manage planning operations
  • Support global initiatives with regards to system, planning and inbound freight costs
  • Manage & coach 3 direct reports

Key skills

  • Systems: (SAP, BW, BO, ….) - MS Office (Strong in Excel) 
  • Great communication skills and the ability to develop good cross functional and collaborative working relationships.
  • People management and coaching (we are looking for a strong man manager who is passionate about development)
  • The ability to identify opportunities and improve ‘the way we do’.
  • Experience of 3PL management, contract management, SLA setting and cost reduction projects. Knowledge of import/export and freight providers.
  • Understanding of the wider supply chain, planning methods, demand forecasting and how S&OP works
