As one of the major players in their category, my client has a strong portfolio of brands and has experienced huge growth in recent years. With an international presence across the globe their current turnover stands in excess of £100m in the UK and £2bn worldwide. As a business they invest heavily back into the company by creating high marketing budgets and constantly improving training and development programmes. They believe in giving their employees the best opportunities to grow within the business, and therefore do not take anyone on that they feel can’t do the next 2 roles above them in the future, so there is strong opportunity for progression. They are now looking to add a Wholesale Controller to the team.

As Wholesale Controller you will work as part of a team of 10 with 6 direct reports. You will sit on the Sales Leaders panel within the company and therefore hold significant responsiblity and have the opportunity to make a huge impact. You will be tasked with developing a 3 year plan to grow the wholesale and impulse channels where there is a huge amount of market share to be gained.  

To be considered for this opportunity you must have a proven background in a branded, FMCG food environment. You must be a driven, bright, ambitious individual with a career plan in place and clear goals for the future. This could suit someone managing large grocery accounts looking for a Controller position. It is crucial you have experience managing a small team in a large blue chip company and have experience of landing a brand plan into a store. You must be commutable to the office based in Surrey 3 to 4 days a week.
