Job Purpose: To deliver agreed targeted profitable sales growth. Identify and develop innovative and new business streams that increase market share and establish a 'stand out’ brand position.
To protect and enhance the reputation of the company through ensuring that all business processes are conducted in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.
Core Responsibilities:
Sales Growth
- Deliver targeted Sales Growth in line with agreed Business objectives
- Drive the sales strategy to grow market share through both existing and new customers
- Promote the brand and product range across all sectors
- Identify and pursue profitable sales opportunities within the existing customer base.
Quote Management
- Manage all quotes in a timely and efficient manner to meet all client and company requirements.
- Represent the company at site visits, exhibitions and other meetings as required.
- Provide activity reports on a weekly / monthly and annual basis.
Performance
- Achieve Sales Targets for new business
- Achieve Targeted Growth within existing customer base
Personal specification
- Experience
- Direct sales experience within the food industry.
- Qualified to degree level or be in possession of the requisite level of sales experience.
- Skills
- Regularly meets and exceeds sales goals
- Closing sales
- Customer Service
- Negotiation skills, ability to negotiate at all levels of a business
- Self confidence, able to hold a position in a debate
- Able to gain an in depth product knowledge
- Communication and Presentation Skills of a high level
- Client relationships
- Motivation for sales
- PC literate - understanding of how to use technology as a tool
