A small bespoke event services company are seeking a sales & marketing co-ordinator to join their London team on a 6 month contract initially
Client Details
They have been around for over 4 years and have an office in East London and Edinburgh. They mainly specialise in weddings and private parties. However, they also work on some cool corporate events and have provided services for Elle, Vogue, FHM, Google, Virgin. The marketing director is due to go on maternity leave soon so there is the opportunity to step up in the role and take on more responsibility shortly.
Description
The responsibilities of the Sales and Marketing Co-ordinator would include:
- Increasing their year on year sales in the London and Scottish markets
- Acting as the main point of contact for wedding and private party enquiries, mainly via phone and email
- Dealing with corporate enquiries and qualifying higher value leads, establishing strong relationships
- Assisting the production manager with some event production tasks
- Attending higher profile events for blogging and social media purposes
- Making cold calls to agencies to introduce our company and products
- Writing blog posts and monthly newsletters for regular publication
- Dropping off and setting up smaller booth units
Profile
There will be lots of on the job training for this role but you will need to be able to pick things up quickly.
The ideal candidate will be:
